Rhetoric Level Classes
MGA provides classes in the following core subjects for Rhetoric students:
Math
Science
Humanities 1: World History with Literature
Humanities 2: Geography, Art History, Writing
Foreign Language (Rhetoric 1) or an Equipping Class (to be offered beginning 2012-2013 school year)
Equipping Class will cover a number of electives, including Logic, Speech, Government, Economics, Worldviews.
Parents will need to provide the following, as desired:
Language Arts – supplemental Grammar, Vocabulary/Latin roots study
Fine Arts – music, art, drama/theatre
Sports
Additional Electives, as desired (e.g., Technology, Home Ec)
Beginning the 2012-2013 school year, Rhetoric students will have an Equipping Class for their fifth class, replacing Foreign Language. Two years of Foreign Language will be completed in Logic 2-3 and Rhetoric 1. For Rhetoric 2, 3 and 4 levels, the students will have an Equipping Class that will include Logic, Speech, Government, Economics and Worldview.

Humanities 1: World & US History and Literature, various resources and readers
Spanish 1, part 2 (two-year course), with Breaking the Barrier
Humanities 2: World Physical Geography, Art History, Writing, using: Runkle Geography, Annotated Mona Lisa, and IEW resources, respectively.
Rhetoric 2/3:
Geometry or Pre-Calculus, using ALEKS.com or Holt, respectively
Chemistry, using ck12.org
Humanities 1: World & US History and Literature, using various resources and readers
Humanities 2: World Geography, Art History, Writing, using: Runkle Geography, Annotated Mona Lisa, and IEW Resources
Spanish 2, using Breaking the Barrier
