Enrollment and Fees
MGA is the most affordable private school option in Tarrant County. Holding classes two days per week not only provides flexibility for our families, it keeps costs low. Additionally, our host church, The Mount, plays a major role in keeping MGA affordable and we gratefully acknowledge and appreciate their valuable support.
Tuition and Fees – 2013-14 School Year
$2520.00 Grammar School (GS) Annual Tuition ($280/month).
$2700.00 Upper School (US) Annual Tuition ($300/month).
$180.00 GS Annual Supply fee, payable in August.
$150.00 US Annual Supply Fee, payable in August.
$50.00 Annual Family Registration fee, payable with Application. Non-refundable.
Tuition is payable by one of three options:
1. As a lump sum in August.
2. Per Semester (required of US part-time students).
3. Nine Monthly Payments, via EFTs (bank account transfers), which are processed the first week of every month, August – April.
Scholarships are available as tuition exchanges, part-time support positions that parents can fill in exchange for partial tuition credit. In the spirit of Romans 12:4-6, we know each member of the Body of Christ serves Him and one another according to the gifts and talents each possesses. Contact the Directors to discuss possible service to MGA. Some of our support needs are as follows:
Lobby staff, daily
Party/event planning and staffing
On-call substitute teaching (for experienced classroom teacher)
Building clean/re-set weekly
Website editing/SEO work
Office assistance, daily
Science and classroom supply management
Families who enroll during the course of the school year will pay tuition and fees as follows:
Current month tuition and each month following, through May.
Supply fee in full for Fall enrollments; prorated 1/2 fee for Spring enrollments.
Full Family Registration fee.
We are enrolling NOW for the 2013-14 school year! We currently have room at every level, although the few Logic level (middle school) openings in Tues-Thurs program are reserved for siblings of Grammar or Rhetoric students. We have many openings in Logic 1, 2 and 3 levels in our new Mon-Wed program.
Returning families are required to reserve their spots for the next year by May 9. After that date, new families may take any spots that have opened up.
We also allow rolling enrollment throughout the school year, and if a level is not full, a student can be admitted during the year. Please note that for such a mid-year transfer to be successful, the parent will need to quickly acquire MGA curricula, and the student will need to work diligently with parental support to catch up to his/her MGA peers.
